Practice and Experience
Mr. Davis is a trial lawyer whose practice includes commercial litigation, securities litigation,
antitrust litigation, intellectual property litigation, arbitration, and employment litigation. Mr.
Davis has extensive securities arbitration experience before the National Association of Securities
Dealers, Inc. Mr. Davis recently authored an article entitled Forum Shopping which was published by
the Bar Journal of the Public Investors' Arbitration Bar Association.
Professional Qualifications
Mr. Davis is a member of the Washington State Bar, the King County Bar Association, and the American
Bar Association. Mr. Davis is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court (W.D.
Washington 2007). Mr. Davis received his J.D., cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law
in 2006, while at the same time employed full time as a law clerk. Mr. Davis received his Bachelor
of Arts degree from the University of Washington in 2001. Mr. Davis holds Series 7 and 66 securities
licenses (inactive).
Community and Civic Activities
During law school, Mr. Davis participated in the Seattle University bankruptcy clinic which provides
legal advice to low-income families who are experiencing financial difficulties. Mr. Davis also
participated in Seattle University's professional responsibility clinic which reviews bar complaints
and provides disciplinary recommendations to the Bar association. Mr. Davis is a member of the Washington
Trails Association and the Surfrider USA Foundation. |
