Practice and Experience
Mr. Badgley is a trial lawyer with extensive experience specializing
in complex commercial litigation, tax litigation, securities
litigation, tort litigation, arbitration and mediation. He has
been lead counsel with primary responsibility for the preparation
and trial of cases involving a wide range of commercial,
intellectual property, business, and technical issues as well as
in product liability litigation. He has practiced before the
United States Tax Court, United States District Courts and
United States Courts of Appeals and before State and Federal
courts in Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii,
Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and New York.
Professional Qualifications
Mr. Badgley is a Fellow in The American College of Trial Lawyers.
He is a member of the Washington State, Federal, and American Bar
Associations and is has been admitted to practice before the
United States Supreme Court and State and Federal courts
throughout the United States. He has served as an arbitrator
and mediator in numerous cases. Mr. Badgley is the author of
the Pacific Rim Advisory Counsel
"International Arbitration/Mediation Handbook."
Community and Civic Activities
Mr. Badgley has been active in civic and community affairs as a
member of the University of Washington Alumni Association; a
Regent of the Seattle Art Museum and a Director of the Henry
Gallery Association. He was a Charter and Founding member of
the Park Hill Rotary Club and a Director of L'Arche, (a community
for the mentally handicapped) and as a member of the Men's Board
of ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) which provides
financial aid to University of Washington post graduate students
in the sciences. |
